Getting Your Art to Us.
We can receive artwork in a number of ways. For smaller files (under 10 megs) email should work. You can email the art file directly to your sales person or a designer. If the file is larger we have a dedicated ftp site whare you can upload your art. To get this information contact damien by phone or email. Alternately you can send us a CD with your file on it to our physical address. If you need art or a proof give us a call and we'll get it to you.
Art Requirements
Vector Art: The best artwork is vector art. Sharp lines and endless scalability are ideal for signage artwork. When working with vector avoiding gradients makes things much easier. All text must be converted to curves, or fonts that are used in the design must be included. Colors should follow the CMYK Model or pantone matching system, for easy matching.
Raster Art: Raster artwork needs to be to at proper size and 100 dpi for lower quality signs, and 200 dpi for higher quality signs. If the sign is larger than 100 square feet 100 dpi is fine. Most raster art files will be too large to email and should be burned to a disk or uploaded to our server. Raster files should be built in the CMYK color model.
Design Software & Versions
We have many ofmajor design software packages. Below is a list of what we do and don't have.
What we do support
We try hard to make the art you send us work, from scanned business cards to photos and unacceptable formats. This almost always adds additional time, and therefore requires an art charge to prep your files properly.
